Canvas print – Aachen Cathedral – Abstract Architecture

Abstract Aachen Cathedral with a polygonal domed chapel and tall Gothic choir in ochre, cream and slate blue.

Aachen Cathedral appears in an expressive abstract architectural composition. The low polygonal chapel with a faceted blue-grey dome joins the much taller Gothic choir on the right, with a slender tower on the left. Broad brushwork sets pale cream planes against dark outlines. Ochre, brown, rust orange and slate blue give this free interpretation a warm, dramatic feel.
