Canvas print – Two Women Meet at a Doorway

A young woman and an older woman greet each other at a stone doorway beneath a fruit-bearing tree.

A young woman and an older woman meet outside a stone doorway. Wearing long, light robes and head coverings, they hold each other’s hands as the older woman rests one hand on the younger woman’s shoulder. Above them, a branching tree with narrow leaves and small round fruits spreads across the scene. A pale, hilly landscape and a stony path appear in the background. Fine outlines and soft, watercolor-like washes in cream, beige, taupe, and gray give the illustration a calm, personal mood.
