Canvas print – Bremen Town Musicians – Abstract Teal and Ochre

Donkey, dog, cat and rooster as the Bremen Town Musicians, painted with loose brushwork in teal, ochre and olive green.

The Bremen Town Musicians appear as a free, painterly interpretation of the familiar fairytale motif. A stack of animals fills the artwork: a rooster stands on a cat, the cat on a dog, and the dog on a donkey. Broad, visible brushstrokes shape the animals in teal, ochre brown, and dark olive green. A sweeping teal brushstroke stands out against the cream background. The painterly illustration feels lively and playful.
