Canvas print – Munich Frauenkirche – Towers in Rose and Terracotta

Munich's Frauenkirche with two green-domed towers, abstractly interpreted in rose, cream and terracotta.

An abstract interpretation of Munich's Frauenkirche shows its two red-brown towers with green domes above simplified city forms. Low, blocklike buildings are arranged beneath them against a sky of broad rose, beige, and mauve fields. Visible brushstrokes and rough textures give the artwork a painted, graphic character. Its warm, quiet palette is accented by the cool turquoise domes.
