Canvas print – Münster Prinzipalmarkt – Abstract Sandstone Tones

Abstract Münster Prinzipalmarkt with gabled houses, arcades and a Gothic town-hall facade in warm sandstone tones.

Münster's Prinzipalmarkt appears in a free painterly old-town view with rows of gabled houses and continuous arcades. To the right of centre, the tall Gothic town-hall facade with tracery windows and slender pinnacles forms the distinctive focal point. Broad brushwork combines cream, ochre and sandy brown with muted blue and teal. The open square and pale architectural planes give the scene a calm, inviting feel.
