Canvas print – Lake Constance Stilt Dwellings – Unteruhldingen Inspiration

Free Unteruhldingen inspiration with reconstructed pile dwellings, connected boardwalks and blue-green Lake Constance water.

A compact group of low timber houses with straw-coloured and ochre-brown roofs stands on many piles above blue-green water. Connected boardwalks and simple railings link the houses, with reeds framing the right shore. This free Unteruhldingen-inspired scene draws on reconstructed prehistoric-style pile dwellings on Lake Constance. It depicts neither surviving ancient buildings nor a precise museum survey. Broad horizontal brushstrokes soften the water and reflections into calm colour areas.
